Mr. Monochrome - Bondi Beach

Just love this place! ! ! A high-end modern looking, simple but edgy. Location's great, nice view. Food's great as well. Ordered Abalone & mushroom & deep fried vegie basket. Very tasty combination and haven't seen anything similar elsewhere. Have to mention their creative Soda & Finger food takeaway kit, perfect for summer beach walk. Tried their cold drip coffee afterwards, quality coffee beans. The presentation looks very professional with dried berries and sparkling water all on a wooden tray. Staff are nice and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

These are the best Egg Benedicts I have recently! Sosososo creative. My favorite dressing is the basil , after the grapefruit sause. I can definitely tastes the layer spread out in my tounge, and mix with the egg benedict which is done just right. it's a really fresh! I highly recommend. Great service as well, we are offered to try the new dish, not sure then going to put it on menu later, but it's a really special pumpkin soup, great opening dish at winter I guess. hope I can find it on the menu nest time I stop by.

Visited this new cafe on a tuesday morning for a quick breakfast. Decor was average, could have done better since it's located at bondi beach. I tried their 'eggs on toasts' - with a special type of runny poached eggs, pretty nice flavour actually! The people working there were very friendly as well. Coffee was good, but could be a but hotter. Overall, this cafe is average amongst all the other ones i have visited, but worth a try if you're around the area! FRENCH TOAST, ORANGE BUTTERSCOTCH, MANGO GEL, CANDIED NUTS, VANILLA GELATO, MICRO MINT & EDIBLE FLOWER + FLUFFY PANCAKES, CREME CHANTILLY, CHAR BANANA & SESAME GELATO ???? When classy breakfast meets dessert with a view of one of the prettiest beaches in the world. I could barely fault either of these dishes. I loved the candied nut crunch and pistachio praline alot! But the mango gel and spiced maple syrup components were very subtle but classy too. Cannot stress enough how you need to visit here before it escalates out of control in summer ????????????

A modern looking cafe opposite bondi beach. Dont bother coming in to dine in until 8am, even though they open at 7am. Ordered the trio eggs benedict (normally $28). Aesthetically beautiful but the hollaindaise sauce wasnt distinct in flavour - very subtle taste of yuzu, basil and beetroot. Fried toast was rich and buttery. Wasnt satisfied with the amount of lobster and kale, considering the price, im guessing they were trying to cut back because I dined in when they still had 50% off their menu. Eggs oozy, friendly service and location couldnt be better. But i wasnt amazed, probably wont come back for some time.
