Contribuisci feedbackWe saw this place on the way to Green Bay and said we'd stop in the next day on our trip back home and we're very happy that we did. Hands down the very best mushroom and swiss burger I've had since moving back to the US in 2019. Also the fries and gravy were fantastic, the cornbread was moist and delicious. 10/10 I will be back.
The bar food is okay, otherwise it 's overpriced for the extremely poor quality of the cooking. The chicken sandwich had dry chicken but the bun was falling apart. The chicken was laid on a bed of the soggiest contamination station lettuce you 've ever seen. The fries were surely last night 's. I dumped The steamed vegetables out of their ramekin to find they were steeping in oil, and they hid my contamination station lettuce at the bottom of my salad. The bartenders must just open drinks b/c when I asked for a skinny margarita they said they don 't have any. Like no duh, that 's why you make one. After I offered the recipe, all I got back was tequila soda. The servers are really nice. That 's what the second star is for. A $70 lunch later, we were left wondering what we ordered, and left feeling like we just wasted our money.
Come for the atmosphere and service. A must stop location on the highway. Daily specials. Check out the museum of cars, bikes, memorabilia and antique mall. Awesome!!
We went on Wednesday for lunch and the waitress recommended the meatloaf dinner. It was outstanding and the service was very good. Going back soon.
Best BBQ in town. I tried Kansas BBQ which is suppose to be one of the best. And I believe WI has the best BBQ at north. Check out the plate, we couldn't try the chicken they were out, but we were impressed with the brisket. Captain Morgan and Doc's Original are the best sauces!
