Contribuisci feedbackWe ate here three times in a week we stayed at the Hotel so that itself is quite telling. Once you get over the prices expensive and focus on the food, then you appreciate the quality of the menu. We ate ten hours cooked beef, tuna, fish, sweetbreads and every dish was excellent. The Burratina starter is a great dish to share as a starter and the lobster soup equally good. Wines are decent value at around the 40 euros mark and the accompanying view to the Citadelle is great. The open kitchen allows you to see the care and attention the kitchen brigade put in to every dish. By far and away the best restaurant in Boniafcio at a cost.
Place is beautiful with the seating outdoor and great view of Bonifacio. Dishes were nicely decorated. Strawberry desert with basil sorbet was delicious. Sea bream fish plate was over cooked. Razor clams tasted good but full of sand. Not worthy for dental visit afterward. Service is poor for such kind of restaurant in a nice hotel.
We absolutely loved the fresh reinterpretation of classics with local food of the lunch menu but were a bit disappointed by the unnecessary fussiness of the would be fusion/nouvelle cuisine dinner menu. sometimes simpler is indeed better !
Thanks to the kitchen staff and management. Excellent service and delicious food. As hotel guests, we had tasted them few times. Very good. Maquis Citadelle, keep going!
L'hôtel est superbe, design, et confortable. La table est bonne, tout comme les tapas et les cocktails. Le personnel et le manager sont serviables et charmants. Belle vue illuminée sur bonifacio ! 5 étoiles !
