The chef sent a pear goat cheese app which was very good. The oil and cheese is a perfect blend. Order the Sexy Sicilian. That drink is divine. We ordered wild mushroom risotto which was cooked perfect. Gordon Ramsey would be proud lol. We also had the butternut squash and ragu. Both were 10/10. The staff sent out an anniversary zeppole. The wild Berry dip was so fresh. We finished with complimentary limencello. Everything about this place is amazing including the piano player. We will definitely go back.
Took my Wife out to Angelina 's last night for her Birthday Dinner. The experience was outstanding, more like a 10 than a 5. Angelina 's is located right on RT 41 in Bonita Springs, just north of Old 41. The Restaurant is very beautiful inside with an incredible 30 ' Tower Wine Room right as you enter the various Dining Areas. Angelina 's actually has 7 different dining areas, one which is their Bar Lounge, which features two bars, one which is built around a piano. The Lounge also has several high top tables. We were seated in the Fountain Room, located just left of the Lounge Room, which allowed us to listen to the piano player, which begins at 6:30 PM. Beautiful room with a view of their outside water fountain. Our Server last night was Giselle, and she was outstanding. Giselle began by asking us if it was our first time there and then gave us a little history of Angelina 's. Giselle was very attentative all night and made our evening very enjoyable. In fact, all the Wait Staff were extremely friendly and professional. It seemed like they had many Wait Staff, and they were all dressed very professionally and everyone had a very nice brass name tag on. When I needed to use the Men 's Room, I asked one of the Wait Staff at the Check in Desk where it was and the person didn 't just point and say over there, but he actually walked me right to the room, which was located behind the Wine Tower. After Dinner when we were having another drink, the General Manager, James Williams came over to check on our experience and I mentioned that person who walked me to the Men 's Room, and he said that was the protocol at Angelina 's to provide outstanding service to their Guests. For Dinner, we both started with an appetizer, my Wife had the Eggplant Rollatina and I had the Fried Calamari with Snapper. Best Calamari I have ever had and my Wife loved the Eggplant. For our Main Course, my Wife had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and I had the 16 oz. Pork Osso Buco. Giselle had recommended the Braised Pork after I had asked her about that entree or the Veal Marsala. Giselle said the braised Pork is cooked slowly for about 6 hours and the meat falls right off the bone. She was right and you didn 't even need a knife to cut up the meat, you could do it with your fork. We both loved our meals and truly feel like we have discovered our New Favorite Restaurant in Southwest Florida. We have been looking for a High-end Restaurant down here where we could go to for special occasions or when we had friends or family visiting. We loved it so much that we made new reservations for my upcoming Birthday in a couple of weeks. We asked Giselle if we could get a table in the Tower Room where they have several private booths, and she took care of getting that taken care of for us. Again just outstanding service. When I made the Reservations they asked if it was for a special occasion, and I said it was for my Wife 's Birthday. They provided us with a complementary dessert of their Signature
Amazing meal! Outstanding service! Everything was delicious and recommendations spot on. Our waitress, Katie, was attentive and super friendly. Melon and speck, delicious breads and garlic parm herb butter. We then split 4 small pasta dishes so we could try as much as we could. Cacio e pepe, Veal Agnolotti, butternut squash ravioli, and Pappardelle 'Capri '. All amazing! Get the donuts for dessert!
Very nice, upscale Italian restaurant. Tables in the lounge area, main restaurant and cozy tent/outside area. We sat in the lounge and enjoyed terrific service (Edward, I think), and an amazing piano player that helped create a wonderful dining experience. Book as far ahead as you can as they are BUSY during season. If you call ask for Paris as she is terrific on the phone and in-person when you arrive.
Always loved this restaurant, but this last Sunday was the best, my Hubby threw me a fantastic surprise birthday?dinner, everything was amazing, from hosting to the servers and especially the chef. Everything was fabulous. A private party room?
