The Sushi Boat for 2 was noteworthy for its quality and abundance. Plus we had an outstanding waiter Casey!
Oh how we used to enjoy this place. Cirella’s held such a special place in my heart. Where else can you get delicious Italian food and fresh, innovative sushi? Going forward, the answer is, not at Cirella’s. Times have changed. To say I was disappointed is a gross misrepresentation of the word disappointed. Restaurant was at capacity and 90-94% of the patrons were indulging in an alcoholic beverage, yet there was only one bartender for the entire establishment. Krissy is a supreme professional, but it was a little ridiculous to expect her to handle drinks for the entire restaurant and bar. Four people in our party ordered martinis and they were served in stemless wine glasses. We were happy to have glassware. The table next to us received their cocktails in styrofoam cups. Food took forever and was mediocre at best. Service was sub-par due to staffing issues- I know this because our server told us that she went to the ladies room twice to cry. Most definitely the worst experience I’ve had in a long while
Overall experience was good but we didn’t see the waitress for 15-20 minutes at least a couple of times during the meal, one member of our party requested a lime for their drink and they got it 20-30 minutes later, and finally 3 of the 4 members of our party got dinner served at the same time and the 4th member got theirs served 10-15 minutes later. We’ll probably come back but you might want to keep an eye for improvement on some of your service staff.
Horrible. They interpreted my reservation note that said “highchair” as “hightop” for some reason. They then told us when we arrived they didn’t have anything else available for us. They generally did not seem apologetic about this. it was absurd that they couldn’t figure something else out. Terrible customer service for a restaurant. Their last excuse was that they are not on open table anymore. Probably because they don’t know how to handle reservations correctly.
Our family of four adults and four children had dinner at Cirella's last Wednesday at five o'clock. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday. The food took over an hour to reach our table after asking many times for it. We had small children, were there early so we could have good service, and were very disappointed. The food was not up to par either. The arugula salad had very little dressing, hardly any parmesan cheese, and nothing special about it. We have had it before when it was fresh and delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs was just ok and the sushi ok too. The table was not cleared and we were fighting with dishes everywhere. There was not even room for the cake when the waitress finally brought it out. We usually love Cirella's but not this time. It was a big disappointment.
