Señor Tequila's Mexican Grill (bonita Springs)

We immediately went online to investigate the price discrepancy. While I checked the menu prices on their Google page, it still didn’t add up. I then returned to their website and clicked the button to order online, which turns out has the correct prices. I'm puzzled as to why the prices on their official menu aren't updated; it feels somewhat deceptive, or at least careless. While our entrées were decent, the appetizer was quite disappointing. We ordered the Super Nachos, and the chips were stale, clinging to the cold cheese at the bottom of the aluminum container, suggesting they had been sitting out for too long. The portions of guacamole and sour cream were laughably small—I'll include a photo to illustrate. I would feel embarrassed to serve that to anyone. At $18 for two cheese enchiladas served with rice and beans, the prices are becoming quite steep. I understand that restaurants have had to raise prices for various reasons, but it’s essential to provide quality food at a fair price. Clear communication about pricing changes is crucial so customers can make well-informed decisions about their orders. Sadly, I think I’ll be taking a break from dining at Señor Tequila for a while. If you’re looking for alternatives, I recommend Maria’s in Bonita or Salsa Brava in North Naples.

Upon entering this so-called 'Mexican' restaurant, you're immediately met with a display of food that appears to have been left out all day. It’s unclear what the intention behind this is, but it seems there isn’t one. The decor is over-the-top, dominated by three large TVs mounted above the bar. I couldn't help but wonder why that choice was made. I had high hopes for the food, having been craving Mexican cuisine. I ordered Menudo and a chicken burrito, but both dishes came out bland and lacking any real flavor. Even the virgin Margarita tasted odd, with an overwhelming sourness. I left feeling thoroughly disappointed with both the food and the atmosphere. We wound up spending $90 for what was nothing more than mediocre Mexican fare. Trust me, as someone who knows authentic Mexican food, this place will not satisfy your cravings and will leave you feeling let down.

We ordered a taco salad with shredded beef, a shrimp cocktail, and a steak quesadilla with sauce. Everything looked fantastic when it arrived, and we couldn’t resist taking pictures! However, when it came time to eat, I was a bit disappointed. My meat had a smoky flavor, but not in a good way—almost like it was slightly burnt. As much as I tried, I couldn't finish it. On the other hand, my husband’s shrimp cocktail was tasty. We took the quesadilla home, so I can’t comment on that just yet. Overall, I had a pleasant experience because I enjoyed a lovely evening with my husband. We talked, laughed, and tried to finish our meals before heading home. It was a nice night! I always hope that those reading my reviews have an even better experience than I did—especially if mine was just okay or not great. So, I wish you all the best! Enjoy the moment, make memories, and even if your experience is mixed, give it a try at least once, and then keep exploring!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I?ve been to! The staff were super friendly and I felt welcome there. Our waiter was helpful too. I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga and it was delicious! I recommend this restaurant for Mexican food!

Was craving some Mexican food and decided to try this place (for my first time. There were a few lower reviews but I was confident that they were prob just written by some bitter bananas so I went for it anyway. Oh my gosh it was SO good, had the steak street tacos and birria and it was heaven. 10/10 would eat there again. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and looked like a lot of love went into building it. The portions were just right, the ingredients were all fresh and the food was cooked perfectly.
