Bistro L'Olivo - Bonn

I was already eating here for the second time with my mother and would like to make one clear: who complains about the size or the ambiente of the load, he simply goes to a classic Italian and leaves it to give this restaurant a bad evaluation for it. Rather, it reminds me of the atmosphere that one has in italia. not persuasive, but authentic. to eat: I ordered both from the regular card and from the weekly changing card pasta and was both fully satisfied. the filled gnocci were great. before I had bruscetta with parmaschinkens, who were almost too much as an appetizer. my accompaniment had at our first visit the great appetizer plate, which tasted her great and which she could hardly eat. we were thrilled by the two paintings, especially the service is unprecedented. a real Italian with innovative pastage and without pizza. absolutely recommended!

I live 2 blocks from l'Olivo and are regular customer, usually with my wife or our kids - we enjoy the genuine food, the tasty wines and above all the sympathic owners/chef and his wife; they are always very friendly and ready to handle your special wishes... We tried the many appetizers, I recommend the "bruschettas", ant the various "pasta" dishes always prepared with love by Franco... We went tonight and probably will return next werk with friends visiting us from abroad!If you are looking for simple/real food served by nice people this is the place to go...

Much more than you expect from such a small bistro! excellent cuisine, delicious wine, good service. and that too much more than reasonable! we will go to eat more often in the future. very good!

After several visits, nothing has changed from the negative points yet: dip with sauces and deco. ( apfelsinenscheibe/ balsamico, etc.) beat (= well meant) , wine selection very small, kantine character, but very friendly service.

The bistro is a bit off the bustle, but it is worth every way.Tolle Italian atmosphere, gediegene music, fresh furnishings.We had chosen a menu consisting of an excellent antipasti teller, with walnut filled ravioli on spinat tomatensosse and to finish a tiramisu.We were very satisfied and happy to come back.
