Restaurant Konrad's - Bonn

To the happiness I have not read the many negative reviews before, so we went into the conrad’s with the firm intention to spend a beautiful evening. this has been done.The local is modern, which is of course class (even if you don't get a table directly at the window). the restaurant advertises on its website with a trip through the republic and so find yourself on the map modernly interpreted German courts and local specialities such as heaven and äd. the card is clear, that is a good sign for me. large menus suggest great cool. that doesn't seem to be the case here. that the wine card then contains only German weine, I consider appropriate in the concept. Otherwise I could go to the Italian too. At any rate we were pleasantly surprised by the weeping of the offered bad honnefer weingutes. the good one is sometimes so close.Pricely, the 3-speed menu was completely in the frame, the open weine are compared to some other bonner locally in my eyes in the price moderate.The service was friendly and endeavored. Anyway, I can't share the negative reviews of the other commentators. there were 50 other guests who wanted to be treated like a king. the wrong dessert can also be left behind, as it happens in the neighboring table, without making a state-affaire out of it. if then said side table also splits a bill of 4 people to 3 bills, I know that I will not see my waiter for a long time. At any rate, the service still found time to tell us that it could take some time with the dessert because there were two large groups there. no problem, we sat down on the terrace with our wine and enjoyed it until the waiter came back to dessert (the waiting time was not so long).

In the top floor of the marriott hotel located me beautiful atmosphere and friendly service. great bar me good choice and a beautiful roof terrace with views of the Rhine.

The interior architect has failed. the bar and restaurant have quite little, actually no atmosphere. it's just not cozy there. you can't score points only with a clear view, especially as the drinks prices are higher. from the expert, attentive, friendly and informed seemed to be only our bartender (guest ?). the rest of the staff made a little ambitious impression. in front of our table, an instructor has been pointed out how to clean better glasses in the future. that is better not to make guests. So, a highlight is if the look is at it and if you have been happy served in the little appealing ambiente at least guiseppe the drinks. there is a lot of optimisation potential.

Infallible and boring dishes. breakfast at the level of a normal hotel, no more. lunches: fish and meat neat but really nothing special, which supplements as in a kantine. for that 50 eur per person was really something overpriced.

It was a really excellent evening! both the indescribable look at the beautiful bonn, as well as the service have made the evening unforgettable with our loved ones! we would like to thank the woman bluhm and the entire team and look forward to a next time. absolutely recommended!
