I saw two people take back their food orders because they were wrong and then they gave someone else my order because they didn't check it out and I had to wait longer for my order. this place must bring it together. will not be back. only gave two stars, because as soon as I got my food, it was right (after careful examination before leaving) and the quality was ok.
Had I not got a star, I would have! was not with this kfc since the pandemic and decided to try it because I was in bonner springs, which was a mistake! the three pieces delicate box ordered, I got it before with kartoffels and gravy and today I was told that I couldn't do that, I had to get pommes. drag them into the window, young man in the window was on his handy, when he was in the window that served me, stayed on his phone, he looked like he saw something on his handy and maybe texting while he took my debit card, there swept and gave it back. he didn't seem to be manager, but even if they were dealing with customers, they shouldn't be on the phone. I asked for sauce, especially the KFC sauce, came home and had 2 honey scavenging, no KFC sauce. before I got a medium drink with my combo, today they appreciated it for a big drink. it is not the funky little 20, it is the principle that I did not ask for a big drink and large drinks do not fit in my cup holder. I brought this to his attention and he was like good, that's what size it comes with. I come home and open my food and it looks absolutely disgusting. the fries are soggy and greasy, the chicken pliers are not what I got on other kfc ́s, these are flattened chicken pieces that are so hard fried that they literally have to tear them apart. biscuit is dry and old. I tried a few times to call the restaurant and of course nobody answers. will not be back to this place!
Placed an order via their app at 12:45 PM for a 1:15 PM pick-up. That gave them a solid 30 minutes to get my *fast food* order ready before I arrived. The same type of order they were doing in real time for people in their drive thru. So, I arrive at 1:15 PM and inquire about my order and the very new and clueless kid working the counter doesn't even research it or ask any questions and just says they're working on it. 10 minutes later I ask a manager and she says, Yes, I know 5 minutes later I inquire again and the same clueless kid provides the same useless answer, so I suggest he go investigate and that just blew his mind. I then see the manager, who I had already spoken with about the order, place it on the far end of the counter and walk away. She didn't announce it or anything. What a train wreck. Who knew that a bucket of 12 pieces of chicken (and NO sides) would take 45 minutes? Next time I'll just go to a full-service sit-down restaurant and order fried chicken. It will be quicker.
All fast food restaurants tend toward poor service and lousy food, but this one really achieves that next level of horrible. Can someone just put KFC out of its misery already?
I occasionally forget and make the mistake of attempting to get food at this clown show of a restaurant. Every time it ends up being a half an hour of my life just to get a taco. The level of incompetency at this place for every facet of a restaurant operation, from actually answering the drive-through to producing edible food is an utter failure, even by fast food standards. The fact that two national chain have their sign on this building should be an utter embarrassment to them. My last finding experience, just wait in 15 minutes behind another customer. I thought maybe that customer was just indecisive. As it turns out they were just waiting for somebody to answer the drive-through. Myself and the four other cars behind us also tried. The restaurant is clearly open, the lights are on and people are moving around inside and it is the middle of the day. Oh and there’s a sign that says open. But apparently the employees decided they didn’t want to actually be open. Do yourself a favor and drive on past this ridiculousness. Hopefully they will finally go out of business and something worthwhile will take up their space on this corner.
