We made a last minute decision to eat here. Authentic rustic interior and menu packed with local specialities. The food was well priced and the service quick and friendly. I had the burger with Bonneval blue cheese with frites which was delicious. There was also a kids menu on offer. A few glasses of wine later (although I wish I'd had the vin chaud), it was a quick walk back to our apartment.

Although Au Vieux Pont has a simple outside appearance (and very simple decor and furnishing inside - very limited number of tables) they offer tasty local specialities (very rich in calories - be warned !) at attractive prices.Service at first "restrained" (not uncommon in France), gets friendlier over the course of the meal (especially if you make aan effort in French).
