A young team with small care in a cozy place with a beautiful view of the valley. Accord mets wines that make the part beautiful to the products of the region. Beautiful discoveries of some areas thanks to our sommelier. Refined dishes with explosions of flavors. A beautiful team around the leader who manages the rotation. An address not to be missed in the Luberon.
We went on a Sunday evening in August for a special celebration. It was our third visit, so our expectations were high, maybe too! We were extremely disappointed by the lousy service. This is a restaurant with an abundance of personnel, but way too inefficient. After we had finished our apéro (we really took our time) we were treated with some amuses bouches. We waited another half hour before we got our menus and we had to ask 3 times for the wine list. The food was superb! But the wait too long. We arrived at 20h15 and were served our starters at 22h00. I don’t want to be rushed, but this was too much.
I went there late July with my wife an young daughter. The restaurant is located within the premises of the hotel which is superb and the atmosphere can not be faulted. The service was good but somewhat a bit mechanical which is what sometimes you find in those starred restaurants; the sommelier (la sommeliere in fact) was excellent however. The big let down is the food where the complexities and various subtleties in your plate and aside (endless amuse bouches) miss the point of what should be a unique experience and flavorsome food; it ends up feeling very unremarkable. As for the prices, they are eye-watering but at least we will take full responsibility for that as we made the booking fully expecting it. P Calmels
Cuisine full of promises, association of flavors present. the service is not worthy of a gourmet restaurant. I asked for the wine card after my entry was served, I had to get up several times to serve myself the wine., reactivity of the rank leader who brought me the bottle of the table and the comble to dessert, the sommelier that we saw only at the aperitif, came to the dessert precipitously to serve us the only glass of the dinner, surprise the bottle was empty!
