L'Arôme - Bonnieux

Although L'Arome was a little hard to find, it was definitely worthwhile. We had a leisurely 3 course dinner there and enjoyed everything about it--food, service, ambiance.

Very nice ambience and good, but not great, food. The flavors were nice but didn't blow my mind. In fact, a week later, I don't even remember what I ate. My travel companions felt the same: good but unremarkable.

We were a group of 8 with a reservation. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server was very kind and attentive. There were two menus to choose from with several selections for each. From the amuse bouche (mushroom soup with olive oil) and the truffle bread sticks to the starters and mains, everything was superb. Delicious wine, cheese course, and desserts served with pleasure. Amazing wine service. Finally, because we were a group of 10 we were in a separate room with a beautiful low curved ceiling right next to the terrace. Perfect!

It was very delicious food, nice service and beautiful evening sitting outside. Very recommendable for a fair price. We come again and looking forward to.
