Chipotle Mexican Grill - Boone

My order was wrong. I requested 3 tacos and chips with queso, but instead received a bowl of toppings without any tacos. I'm very disappointed, especially since I expect everything to be included in the to-go bag when ordering from a reputable restaurant.

Inside the restaurant, there were plenty of seats available, but not a single table was clean. It was even worse than the food prep area. After assessing the situation, I decided to throw everything away and leave, relieved to avoid the risk of food poisoning. If you're looking for food that feels like it's geared towards college students, this place may be for you!

As a former Chipotle employee from a much busier urban area than Boone, I typically avoid writing harsh reviews unless they're deserved. However, I had a disappointing experience today during the dinner rush. I understand it can get hectic, but the rice in my bowl was undercooked—so much so that it was crunchy and hardly edible, which raises concerns about food safety. They were also out of three different protein options. Additionally, the utensils were all empty, there was trash everywhere, and the staff on the line seemed disorganized and rude. Management really needs to step up or find someone capable of effectively running the store. I noticed multiple health code violations, and now I'm left without a dinner that I paid for.

Quick but poor service. You always get your meal very quicky here, but you also will likely receive the wrong order, incorrect portions, and/or the wrong ingredients in your meal. Very disappointing.

Tiffany was the front line worker today and she has got the be the biggest ray of sunshine I have ever met and must be protected at all costs. More people need to be like her. So personable and sweet and absolutely made my whole day after my interactions with her
