The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and they make delicious scones (don't miss the date and ginger flavor). They serve tea in silver pots and real china cups - not tea bags. Be on the lookout for their sign, as the shop is unique and worth a visit.
I found the displays at this place to be engaging and enjoyable to explore. The prices were pleasantly reasonable. My experience of having tea and scones on the balcony was enhanced by the breathtaking views. The service was exceptional. The generous portions of jam and cream were delicious, and the coffee and hot chocolate were good, served in charming mugs. However, the scones were a bit dry. Overall, it was a lovely afternoon. It's worth noting that they specialize in serving tea, coffee, scones, and fruit cake; it's not a traditional restaurant or fast food establishment.
My partner and I stumbled across Geordie Lane on our way up to Montville one day and decided to stop for brunch. We had a delicious pot of tea each, served with fine chinaware along with two fresh scones each. The scones were to die for! The owners were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this unique little cafe, 10/10.
Beautiful place. Lovely people and scones, cakes and coffee excellent. Highly recommend this place. Beautiful views. The owner ran out of plain scones and ended up giving me 6 out of the freezer for free!
Great morning tea while I'm looking for hidden treasure Great things that you can find and buy in this shop. Love the views and hospitality
