Child friendly staff, as this is a multi generation family run shop and cafe. Busy during opening hours, so if phone is off hook, they are serving lots of customers! As well as take away sandwiches, rolls, cooked meals, soups and scouse, some enjoy eating in. They can also cater for events with 30 200 people with prior arrangement. I eat there frequently so have my own mug. Tea and coffee available, at reasonable cost, or check for water, fruity and fizzy drinks, near the entrance. The staff are welcoming and might even give well behaved dogs a little food treat. I am very happy to recommend their food, and have sometimes bought second helpings... (NB I plan to join a gym to lose 70 pounds but my weight is from several years ago and unrelated to the great food served here.

The staff are fantastic, and the food is second to none in their area and probably for miles around!
