Bistro Poulette - Bordeaux

Sublime! Lovely atmosphere, inviting and friendly staff and, importantly, muscles were amazing!

The speciality of this restaurant in the Capucin Marchê is mussels and they are delicious, would definitely recommend. €15.90 for a large portion which is served with chips. It is very popular, so best to go early, we were there just before 12 and got a table no problem, but there was a large queue as we were leaving.

Great set up. Great food. Got some free wine courtesy of Romain. 10/10.

Great restaurant on the market, good service. mustels fries looked good. had meat and cheese plates.

Well we trudged round the market du capuchins (as recommended by rick stein on Bordeaux weekends) and then found this restaurant for lunch very nearby afterwards. Ordered lobster roll and half lobster with salad and chips as this restaurant is known for lobster. Good for lobster roll half lobster. Average fare however overcooked chips and soggy salad, lobster very small portion. Not memorable enough to go back sadly.
