It is one of 3 bar/restaurants in a charming leafy square beside the Sainte Croix church. Although the menu is a little limited, the food is very good, and reasonably priced. The Tarte Tatin was particularly tasty. It has fully outside seating and a covered outside area at least in Summer. My one criticism is that the one waitress serving seemed to be rushed off her feet on an evening when they were pretty busy.
For a diverse group of twelve we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food available in such a small (rustic) bistro. We chose everything available on the platters and everything chose us. Including the three non-meat eaters. The house red was as smooth as silk and I'm suitably informed, the white was as pleasant on the palate. Service was brisk and pleasant, once it was established we were out for a session and not just for a quick stomach filler. We are known for our capacity to consume a good quantity of claret once we get started and this was only our first night in Bordeaux. The Creme Brulee was not as one would normally expect but, I'm told, a concoction of ethereal froth. To each his own. My apple tart was delicious.
The worst café in Burdeos and amazingly expensive. It' un front ofrece a touristic church and its the only place in the Suárez. Avoid this place!
