More then Ice Cream, which is terrific, but try the chocolate coated potato chips, they are so so good
I had a bad experience with terrible Cows ice Cream in Charlottetown, but I wanted to purchase some of Anne's Raspberry Cordial before I left the island. It was early morning when I asked the young man making waffle cones where I could find the pop. He was helpful! The young ladies need to learn some customer manners from the young man, as the ones behind the counter were not helpful and were somewhat rude. I purchased 4 bottles and wanted them in the cardboard carry-out. Again, the females were not nice, but the gentleman again showed kindness and helped.
We tried the one in Borden right after crossing the bridge. It was so good but you pay a lot more than it's worth for 3 single scoop cones. Special cones cost extra too. It will be a once and done thing for my family. Cool names for the ice cream. I had the Messie Bessie and loved it. Customer service could have been better though.
There are two locations of Cows Ice Cream in Fredericton(the capital of PEI). One is near the main centre of the city and the other is near the lake. We visited the one near the lake and the queues were so long (considering we visited on a Tuesday and not a weekend) and there were only two ladies attending to the customers (while one was less busy tending the gift shop). We decided not to buy their ice cream anymore even if it is one of my favorite ice cream(having tried it several times in Niagara on the Lake). They must have more counter people when there are a lot of customers/tourists in the area.
