We sat under a vineyard on the street. The service was good and they spoke English, I paid contactless costs of meal Swiss Francs 60, £54) i aldehyde pay in SF, as I find the exchange rate is better.
Very friendly staff, amazing landscape, very special architecture, historic building, good food, good vines, fresh air.
We randomly stumbled over this restaurant after a morning spent in one of the valleys over Camedo. Our plan was to have only one drink, but the menu looked so tempting that we decided to stay for lunch. The meal consisted of home made pasta followed by a delicious home made panna cotta and was served on a beautiful, vine shaded terrace opposite the hotel. Service was friendly and welcoming.
We were the first guests in Grütli during the Easter holidays after their reopening and were very enthusiastic about the cozy atmosphere, stunning views from the terrace and the super friendly engagements of the young and open hosts. Large local food, lively but relaxing vibes, beautiful rooms in old style with modern bathroom: we highly recommend for those who are looking for a truth to Chichi Locarno/Ascona (at least for us it feels like that).
Great evening in Osteria Grütli and excellent food. Lovely atmosphere. I deeply advise it. Best restaurant I know in Switzerland!!!!
