As in Grandma’s “good stube” you are feeding cozy cakes and cakes, which you have chosen before at the Tresen. Café Elend is family-run and you will receive warmheartedly with a smile. Also with a large group you can get in here well. I'm not a fan of butter cream, but there's something here! Classics such as Black Forest Cherry, Marzipan and Herrentorte are always present and very delicious! Seasonally there is a world-class strawberry cake now in winter you have to resort to apple cake. Small quartets, lemon roll, marzipan hearts, pig tubules, almond horns and, of course, Baiser... the choice is not so easy at the great selection. Luckily you will always be kindly enlightened and advised : the ambience you must like modern is here miss in place. Everything looks like Grandparent times. Only the toilets are already white. Also not new, but like the rest, very clean and neat. Coffee and other drinks are brought to the table. Parking is on the opposite side of the street, or at the Martin Luther House around the corner. By bike you can also park on the house wall. I hadn't seen high chairs now and you can still pay with cash. Also on Sundays is open so that you can take cakes and cakes very well.

We've had a very sweet time here. As an expert and gourmet of Torten it is a must to visit this café. The service was also very authentic. We would come back!!! See you soon

For 2 small pieces of raspberry cake 9€ is already ne ansage. Unfortunately, these were also estimated to be 2-3 days old. Taste absolutely not edible. Very bad, for us the last time. Mr. Elend can't leave it constantly with questions about holes; what is quite ok but it's always going on a very nerve.

If we get cakes, cakes or other treats that a confectioner can offer, then here. Always tasty, always friendly and always worth the visit.
