Pony - Bornholm

Big expectations. Beautiful view. Poor table settings with cutlery, etc. Not excellent serving, stressed, across the table etc. Food was mediocre, and without any finesse in flavors. The first course was a minimal piece of fish in a soup of vinegar, like a pickled herring. Next a rough tartar without any spices, and after that a very dry tasteless piece of loin. And the dessert should contain plum but couldn´t find the taste, and it looked terrible. There was an open door that the staff refused to close, and icecold night wind made it very unpleasant. Sorry, won´t visit again.

We went there Saturday with our friends and what an evening. The view over the Sea was amazing. Staff were very friendly and dedicated Food was absolutely delicious. Normally 5 stars are for the very best restaurants but here we had the perfect combination with very good food and the perfect location You will not regret it

Very good food and great renovation of the restaurant. I highly recommend the monkfish and the salads for the meat were great. Only negative asked twice for warm milk for the coffee, got cold milk...

We stayed at hotel Nordlandet so we chose Sommer Pony for our first dinner given that it is located in the hotel. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. Prices are slightly on the high side however the quality of the food and the view compensate for that. This is definitely worth a visit.

I was there a part of a group and we had several smaller sharing dishes. I am not sure what we had though since it was difficult to hear what was being presented. Everything looked pretty and tasted good. We had an out standind tatar. I would give the place 3½ stars if I could because the portions are too small and I left hungry. However my friends had orderd the food so it might be that they didn't order enough so if it is their fault 4 stars are in place.
