Alleycat Cafe - Boroondara

It may be called Alleycat, but there was an amazing array of pooches greeting us when we seated ourselves outside in the cute little courtyard.

If you're hankering for crepes then check this place out. Great service. Kid and dog friendly. Outdoor heaters are on in winter! Yay!

We popped in late afternoon for a coffee. The coffee was good and the little orange citrus cake was lovely too. A nice atmosphere, we are looking forward to returning for lunch.

My daughter and I stumbled across this place recently and it made us laugh that this place was hopping but Squisido opposite was empty despite all the chairs outside. So what is it about this place that attracts people?It's quirky. It's not previous. It's intriguing. You have to try the portuguese tarts are the best but sell out quickly.Note that the food is simple and this isn't fancy. No smashed avocado here. It's pretty much coffee, cake, sandwiches and focacias. The staff are lovely and the service is quick. Great place to spend a warm morning having a cuppa with friends.Wheelchair friendlly. Lots of parking nearby. Toilet nearby. Kid friendly.

This is lovely coffeeshop with a nice outside terrace at the end of a small square. The inside is nicely decorated...it looks like an old French cafe! Coffee is good but service could be more attentive. No wifi (it wasn't working).
