At $9.99 they were great value as well as being fresh & tasty. A bowl of fries was $5. It's a small place, with quirky decor, cosy & interesting. We will become regulars here!
Small bar with seating for around 50. Great spot to go for drinks as a couple or as a group, before going out or just settl in. Food is casual bar style. Nice casual vibe, along with happy, smiley staff.
Went for a light lunch on Sunday with family and thought we would give this place a try.A little unsure when we entered as place was very small, not many tables & chairs and not much by way of lighting - not very inviting! This all changed when our waitress arrived with a welcoming smile & very pleasant & friendly nature and showed us to our table. She then explained everything on the menu & gave us some suggestions on what to order. The menu contained mainly burgers & other light snacks and being a bar, also had beer, wine & cocktails available. We all ordered different burgers that come with chips (only for lunch, otherwise sides need to be ordered at other times). The burgers came out and whilst the presentation was usual the burgers themselves looked fantastic! The pattie was a good size, very fresh & here is the twist, prepared with a middle eastern flavour incorporating lovely herbs & spices, delicious! Mine came with cheese, egg & bacon and lettuce, tomato & beetroot all very fresh and served in a brioche bun. The other beef burger was equally fresh & tasty as was the other dish ordered being a chicken burger. Not much by way of desert & the usual coffee & tea was available. All in all whilst the interior is nothing special the food & friendly service certainly makes up for it. Being a bar they have live music & other events most nights. Will be returning sooner rather than later.
We found this restaurant in a nice underground setting with a lovely dining area. It was our first morning in Melbourne and all we needed was a good breakfast.
We had the best Italian meal in Melbourne in a long time at Cecconi's! There were four of us who went for dinner on Saturday night and we loved everything about the restaurant.
