Daruma Japanese Kitchen - Boroondara

I ordered a sushi platter and was very impressed with the quality and portion sizes. The deluxe sashimi platter was $42 and worth every penny. The regular sushi rolls were typical of what you would expect from any sushi restaurant in Melbourne.

This restaurant serves clean, fresh, and delicious sushi. It's one of the few healthy lunch options available if you don't want to sit in a cafe. They make their sushi fresh every day and are willing to accommodate special requests if you're willing to wait (they'll even make a custom roll just for you). While prices have gone up, so has the quality and variety of sushi, so it's hard to complain. I could happily eat here every day for lunch with a smile on my face. A special shoutout to one of their employees, Wei, who is always smiling and eager to serve you!

This restaurant is amazing! I cannot believe some of the ratings I have seen. The ingredients are absolutely fresh and the food is very tasty and delicious! The staff are very friendly too. This place is much better compared to other sushi places in the CBD, and it is also cheaper.

Restaurant closed such a pity as it served excellent Japanese, Korean food. Good variety, excellent table service and knowledgeable staff

Food was good as far as Japanese traditional style goes. Servicee was good and attentive but lacked a little bit of atmosphere.
