Saki Japanese Restaurant - Boroondara

Great food! Excellent mix of ingredients and flavours which was refreshing and clean. Good wines, good service in an intimate setting. I would highly recommend the tofu creme brûlée. It looks as good as it tastes!

The Japanese food at this restaurant on Flinders Lane in Melbourne is exceptional, adding to the city's reputation for great dining options. We opted for the share plates from the special menu and each dish was fantastic. Keep in mind that the portions are small, so be ready to order a few more plates, but it's definitely worth it.

We had intended to go to chin chin next door and their line was ridiculous so lucky for us we found this place. Quite possibly the best Japanese we’ve ever eaten. The food was spectacular and the service was great too, we’re taking our kids back here very soon.

I really loved this place and the food is amazing. I love sushi and Japanese food so this place is great. Great for any sized groups and all ages.

We have been coming here for nearly 20 years and it never fails to satisfy. The menu has hardly changed but what is there is good and reliable old favourites sashimi, sushi, tempura, tonkatsu, bento box etc.
