We had no good underwear when we first came to dinner. The 3 of us were there. 7:30 who was probably too late, but they are open til 9, so the food should have been fresh. Instead, it was dried out and looked like it had been eaten for days. Dinner wasn't cheap. It was $18.95 plus tax and tip came to about $25. I wouldn't have considered the price if I had to eat some good Cajun food and seafood. There was something else to eat. The small fried fish were dried. When the waiter came here to ask us how it was, I told him everything was cold and dried and no salad was left. He said he'd go back and tell them to make more food. We weren't the only ones in there and the people came in for the next hour and tried to find something edible. You filled the salad for us. The Caesar salad was good and the desserts were also pretty good. It was just that the shrimps were tiny. There wasn't even a crust fish. The potatoes and corn were my consolation. Since this is the first time I'm here, I got a card from the casino and that gave me a $2 off so that that was positive. I think I'm coming back for the Friday Saturday Fish Buffet, that's $24.99. As I said, the price is not a problem, but I want to get a great dinner. I have so many casino buffets in front of the country and even in Canada. I usually go for the casino buffet when I get to the city because it is usually great with many choices. I am from Arizona who has fabulous casinos and food buffets on Talking Stick and Wild Horse Pass some of my favorites. I'm looking forward to a good Louisiana cooking, but I didn't get it here. The staff was attentive and tried to help, but it was a disappointment. After I published this negative review, I can see that the staff came out to see if they could make it better and that is positive. As I said, I could still try while I'm here for 10 days. Good news, but we returned to lunch a week later at 11 a.m. when they opened FIRST and everything was great. The food was delicious, fresh and delicious. That's the secret. Go when they open first. Great lunch!
Was kind of disappointed for $30.00 I was hoping for a much better culinary experience. Too much of the food was what seemed to be kind of old. We drove two hours to get away and have a nice dinner and make some gambling. We had fun. Probably should have chosen a higher casino
I ordered the Patty Melt. Couldnt eat cause the toast was soggy, meat had NO flavor super thick, the fries wasnt cooked completely
Not worth 25 bucks. The best part was out very kind waitress. On the ball with our refills. Her name is Janet. None of the food is labeled and not very hot. The meat was way over cooked and not hot. The deserts need to be chilled. They were just blah.... Over all I would not go back. :
