Gumbo to Geaux - Bossier City

Truthfully, I'm an old northern boy and wouldn't know good gumbo from bad. But what I was served here was delicious. I had the chicken sausage gumbo, the seafood Étouffée and the chicken spagetti. All 3 were very tasty but if you are a tender tongue like me, you might want to aproach the gumbo with a bit if caution. It isn't hot enough to hurt you but it will definately wake you up. Going back on Friday to check out their Jambalaya.

I have eaten gumbo all over Louisiana and their gumbo ranks very high on my list! Glad I gave you a try! My wife had the shrimp Po boy and it was very good also! I highly recommend this place!

The food is fantastic!! Have eaten here numerous times and never had a bad experience. All of their seafood dishes are great but don't hesitate to try their Geaux Burger... we're picky about our burgers, and these rock! Just tried their boiled crawfish (picky about that too), and they were wonderful! Spicy but not too spicy... and a great deal if you get the 5lb special. Our favorite thing about this place is their accomodating service. They'll go out of their way to serve you or a large group. They got it right at this place!!

Without question our favorite south Bossier restaurant. Staff exceptionally friendly, embarrassingly enough, usually knows our order. And the food. LAWD the food. Always fresh and over the top delicious. Can't say enough good things about these people!!!

The best place in South Bossier. Specials weekly and so many choices you can't go wrong. Plus, everyone that works there are amazing!
