Podnuh's -b-q - Bossier City

Came 7:50pm and door already closed, despite shield said open. Came to drive through and waited 15 min without answer despite staff go through emptying garbage (only standing in the back, which seems to be smoking). I asked if the business is still open and he said no (at 8:15) and laughed. What a joke of a restaurant operation and management!

I'm working in the area and wanted some BBQ for lunch. The brisket was under cooked and cut wrong, it's been awhile since I've had chewy brisket.

I dont like leaving bad reviews. I rarely do. However, i feel like i needed to in this case. Me and my best friend stopped to have a quick dinner and enjoy some barbeque ribs..Or so we thought we would anyways. While we were getting our food on our plates there were couple of flies that kept landing on the food. I got the side orders that i didnt see any land on but once we were seated we had to constantly swat at flies to keep them off of our food. It didnt work everytime though. They landed on our food despite our efforts to keep them off. Needless to say, $35 For 2 meals and wasnt able to even eat our food. The lady cleaning the tables could see we were fighting flies and she coulda cared less obviously. I usually love the barbeque at Podnuhs but i doubt i will be back for quite a while.

The potato salad was very close to the original recipe at this location and I miss that at the Baton Rouge location. Look how nice and tight the potato salad is. No heavy egg or mayo flavor. The beans were also good. The ribs and chicken were a little light on seasoning for me.

Order food delivered. Beef ordered chopped, received it thinly sliced- no bbq flavor at all, taste like roast that was boiled in water. Baked potato had to be cooked because it was hard. Cole slaw was the only good part of the order.
