Don 't know why more people don 't know about this wonderful Boston restaurant! Perhaps it 's because it 's hidden inside the Hyatt Regency with no external sign?Excellent food, artfully presented, at moderate prices. I enjoyed the salmon with a light mustard and maple glaze. My wife raved about her scrod.For dessert, we shared a rich Guinness chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and blackberries. It came with a dish of Irish Cream vanilla ice cream.Service by our waiter, Narayan, was friendly and professional and attentive.Atmosphere is contemporary and classy, as well as quiet and relaxing.Parking is easy in their underground garage for the Hyatt Regency Hotel. After our delicious dinner, we attended Boston Ballet just steps away.Do yourself a favor and try Avenue One!

We did a take out order at the Avenue One Resturant located within the Hyatt Regency Boston. The service at the bar was outstanding, and the take out food was solid. They promote the New England style clam chowder as being award winning. I don't know if that is true or not, but I will say that the chowder is darn good!
