Bova's Bakery - Boston

This bakery was an incredible place to visit. With so many delicious options, it could be tough to choose what to order. It was quite busy during our visits, but the line moved quickly. They have convenient hours, and the staff is very friendly. The food was outstanding and truly a highlight of our trip.

Among the three well-known bakeries in the North End—Mike's Pastry, Modern Pastry, and Bova's—Bova's is my favorite for its exceptional food. Their lobster tail, cream puffs, chocolate-dipped cookies, strawberry shortcake, sandwiches, and crème brûlée are all outstanding. One of the best things about Bova's is that it's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round. The bakery is managed by three extended families of the original Bova family, who take turns running the place; each family typically works for about six months before passing the responsibilities to another. Two of the families are very friendly, while one family is a bit hit or miss. The older woman there was quite helpful, but there was a man who didn’t seem interested in assisting me at all.

This 24-hour bakery serves up delicious Boston cream pie along with a wide variety of sweet treats, including giant cannolis, pizza pies, calzones, and Italian family dinners, among many other options. They also offer birthday cakes and custom cakes for special events. The lines typically move swiftly thanks to several servers on duty. While most prices aren't displayed, you can expect most items to be under $5. The pastries are definitely larger than average!

One of the best 24/7 bakery in Boston North End. Lots of Varieties, very crowded on the weekends, but a very well-organized crowd. There?s no dine-in, nor a guest bathroom ???? But, you will really enjoy the tasty selections. Watch out, no parking, and no wheelchair access.
