Bricco Restaurant - Boston

I have often been in this restaurant on my pass through boston! we have a reservation for 8:15 and came there at 7:45 the host / manager rudely told us that we were early for our rez and we need to wait. no problem that we say we have a drink at the bar. that was the best part of this night! the barkeeper keve was amazing and welcoming and made us great drinks! we should have stayed in the bar. it was 8:30 and no one came to us about our table. I went and asked the host / manager and he said: "Oh yes, you table has been ready" really then why not get us and we say we were right in front of him! then we were accompanied to our “table” which was not in the main dining room but was lined by the other side of the bar. I ordered a spicy pasta dish, I love al dente pasta! my pasta literally squeezed into the mouth when I ate it, but because of the fact that our waiter was inconspicuous and never checked, it took 30 min for me to get a new one that still cracked in my mouth. bathroom were disgusting! that is not a low-scale restaurant! brings it together! there are many other great in boston! will not be back!

We were in the past in bricco and have always enjoyed our experience. last night, however, was not one of these times. we were a party of 2 sitting on a table right next to the door and we were opened with cold air every time the door. on our first seat we asked another table in the upper floor of the restaurant, because we sat here in the past and the cold was a problem, but we said there were no tables on the upper floor. After we had brought up a few other parties from 2 or otherwise sat in the restaurant and some other open tables in our counter, we approached the host again around the the thema. we explained that we were unhappy with our table and that it was always extremely cold when the door was opened and asked if there was something they could do, and we were told that there was nothing. because we wanted to be paid for an expensive night, we were not willing to be unhappy all the time, so we decided to go. our waiter was very understanding and even said that everyone complained about sitting on this table. it was unfortunate that we were not accommodated and ended to go where we had a nice, warm, dinner and excellent service.

Good and service. only a constant cold brise to our feet.

It was very romantic and good dining would come back!!

This is the most expensive food I’ve eaten in North End, the food was terrible and the portion size was miniature. I left very hungry. Go here for drinks but you will be disappointed if you come for dinner.
