Sol Azteca - Boston

Don't expect authentic Mexican food at this restaurant, as the only seasoning used is salt. It's expensive, but the complimentary chips and salsa are the only redeeming quality if you choose to eat in.

Amazing food, big portions, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. This place deserves five stars! Delicious fresh salsa and tortilla chips are also served with your food.

We visited this restaurant on a lovely evening and were fortunate to secure a table, as reservations are usually required. We dined outside and ordered a variety of dishes, including steak. The chips and salsa were outstanding, incredibly fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also impressive, with generous amounts of alcohol. The steak, beans, salads, cheese, chicken, beef, and tacos were all perfectly cooked and delicious. This is definitely a great spot to dine, with fantastic customer service - the staff were polite, funny, and friendly. While the prices are a bit high, the restaurant is located on the bustling Brookline Beacon Street. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This restaurant has some of the best fresh salsa and guacamole! The nachos are very filling, but it's best to go with a group of three or more. The drinks are delicious and the staff is accommodating to customer requests. I tried a guava premium drink with a spicy twist, and it really surprised me. The enchiladas were also fantastic, especially with their in-house spicy sauce. It's flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy. If you enjoy a little kick, this place is perfect for you. I highly recommend this restaurant for a dinner date.

If you live near Beacon and Park Drive, You're no doubt familiar with this neighborhood gem. Quality and service have been legendary at Sol Azteca for decades I'd imagine. The entrees are always great, the Margaritas are superb and the Queso Asado just might be the Mexican equivalent to crack (soooo good). Support this restaurant during the pandemic. Thye've never let us down!
