Visited on the Friday before Christmas from about 4:15 to 5:30 and it was really quiet, a perfect spot to just relax and have a cappuccino. I had the place all to myself for roughly half the time I was there. The cappuccino was quite good, didn't take too long, and the staff was friendly.
This is my favorite little café in Boston. The Chicken de Maison and hot chocolate are absolutely incredible. I always make a point to stop by whenever I'm in town!
The best clam chowder I've ever had! The cappuccino is excellent too. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is conveniently located on Charles Street. The prices are reasonable. The chowder bowl is quite filling and comes with bread and crackers.
We visited this place for a cup of tea and tried the tiramisu, which was heavenly—definitely made in-house like all their other desserts. The ice cream was good as well. However, I'm not giving it a perfect rating because the coffee was subpar and the service was slow, likely because there was only one waiter on duty.
