Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse

I had a reservation for 8 PM, but we weren't seated until nearly 8:45.

The food is very average, our waiter had no personality and it was extremely over priced. We had an amazing meal in the north end for half the price. $15 for pudding for dessert????

Davios is consistently delicious. However, for some reason, the music was really loud during my visit on a Sunday. I requested that they turn it down, and they did, but it kept gradually getting louder again.

The restaurant was very busy on Saturday night, which is a positive sign. However, we weren't expecting to have a reservation for a party of seven and still not be seated until 7:25. While I understand that it's challenging to get guests to leave their tables, I do think the communication from the host station could be improved. They were clearly trying to manage a long line outside, which is commendable. Once we were finally seated, the food and service were excellent.

Having been there a number of times I've never seen it as busy as it was Saturday night. The staff worked and tried very hard to keep up and did a great job.
