El Barrio Mexican Grill - Boston

Hate to say this but this place has become terrible. Gave them a few more tries before leaving this review, but they?ve failed me time and time again. The food is cold every time I get it, birria consomé seems watered down, steak is chewy, special orderinstructions are ignored, food overall doesn?t have much flavor. There is no love in this food and it shows! I?m not sure whatchanged but it?s just been really bad for the past year and it?s a shame because this used to be one of the few good Mexicanspots in the area.

Love how the inside of the restaurant looks! Not a lot of seats so not the best for dine in but waiting for your food is plenty of time to take in the environment. I used an app to get my food so the price I got probably doesnt apply.

Worst burrito I ever tried. I was excited to try this place because I always walk past on my way to work. Ordered a steak burrito. The steak was cold and tough. (Inedible) Also very little portion inside a gigantic tortilla. Cheese was nearly frozen.No retried beans as I order and the rice was tasteless. Never again so disappointed.

I ordered a steak nacho bravo, and I was very disappointed. I did lift the bottom to see if there were any chips in there, and there were a bunch of broken pieces. I usually order this all the time. And this go round, it was terrible. Soggy cold andthe steak was gummy. Smh, I also called an hour after they opened, so not sure why the quality was highly disappointing.

I eat here three times a week. I love this place! Excellent food at excellent prices. Great vibe. Great people.
