Love the interior and the food! Coming back for sure!
The flavor of the broth was very good. My friend got the house one and I got the spicy mala. Seating and service was quick.
Been a big fan of happy lamb since they opened. First time going to this location and going back to this chain in general since COVID hit . This location is great. The pots are set deeper in the table which makes it a little harder to reach food, but prevents any splash back. There's also an air vent which sucks up most of the smoke and prevents it from blowing at your face. The food is great. They've really stepped it up with the presentation as well. Really impressed by the layout of the meats. The broths are consistent and yummy like at the other locations. The staff were very attentive and did a great job of checking in and removing dishes periodically. The restaurant feels brand new. And they were playing the Notebook the movie on the wall lol. Interesting addition to dinner. The wait time can get busy especially on the weekend. Definitely recommend overall!
I am so happy with the addition of Happy Lamb in Allston!! The strengths of this hotpot establishment are their deep, flavorful broths and really good dipping sauces thanks to their sesame paste . The standard Happy Lamb sauce requirements are: sesame paste sauce, garlic oil, scallions, and a bit of chilies whether it's green chilies or hot chili oil . Unfortunately, this location is charging 3 for sauces, but the caveat is that you have more toppings and can make your own from the sauce station. The soup broth is fantastic as always and you'll get a delicious punch of flavor in every bite of meat or vegetables you cook in the pot.
