Laughing Monk Cafe - Boston

We had the Omakase dinner to celebrate my fiancÃ’s birthday. Each dish was a delightful, delicious surprise. The chef was so detailed in how he presented and prepared each dish. Each sushi dish was almost too pretty to eat, and then the chef surprised us with a dessert at the end, lit with a candle, for my fiancÃ. It was a fabulous dinner and I will definitely go back.

Our party of had a truly outstanding experience at Laughing Monk. Both the Thai dishes and sushi offerings were absolutely top shelf. The sushi chefs are very imaginative and skilled at combining unusual ingredients that create flavors that are by far larger than the sum of their parts. The quality is first rate, and the hospitality/service was truly warm and lovely. Some of the sushi dishes are expensive, but not inordinately so. We didn't try the umakase (chef's choice sushi) but look forward to doing so. Everyone left feeling very happy, and we all agree that we can't wait to visit again. Thank you Laughing Monk team!

Food was so good and reasonably priced. The service was quick. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy Thai food.

Excellent, delicious sushi! I just wish there was more space inside since the tables are a bit crowded together. Overall stars though!
