Limoncello - Boston

I saw the reviews and I was expecting something amazing. The place is nice,clean, the staff is friendly. But the food was just an ok. I cannot recommend this place if you looking for good Italian food there are many options around way better. I don’tlike leaving bad reviews bad the food truly lacks flavor.

The staff was really nice. It was a busy Saturday and we did not have a reservation and still were seated quickly. Very attentive with refilling the waters and provided extra bread. I felt the food was just okay. The pasta wasn't aldente enough andthe sauces lacked what I normally expect from an Italian restaurant. I wasn't a fan of their mozzarella either. That being saidthere are many styles for Italian food, so this is just my interpretation. I thought the Lemon Drop martini was good. I had theEspresso martini and it was just okay. I would imagine the Espresso itself is great there I did not actually try it though.Overall I give Limoncello a 2 out of 5.

I had a great time in Limoncello last night. The food is delicious and the portions are also very good. The bread is amazing. I had a chopped tomatoes, onion and mozzarella salad to die with Vininaigrette. Then the Veal Piccata. The calfsal was very tender and the lemon sauce with capers was really the best I ever had. For Dessert I had her Tiramisu, which was amazing! Great wine selection and home made limoncello is delicious! I recommend this casual great restaurant! It doesn't break the bank!

Wowwwww. Had a reservation for two and they took us on time. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable. Everything about this restaurant is great. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious. They start with bread and ancillary meal of olives. Bread was hot and very good together with the olives. For my duck, I had the penne arbiatta. If you like spicy, then I definitely recommend to get this dish. My friend got the lobster ravioli and holy sh.... Wowwwww! It was really delicious. You will not be disappointed to get the lobster Ravioli. Of course we had to get Dessert, so we went with the Cannoli. It was perfect for two, especially because we were filled. Everything was amazing and I wish I could come here more often. It was a great Boston trip, and it really took off. Our waiter was so nice and I wish I could remember his name so I could mention him here. He made sure we were happy and went over the specials with us. Super sweet! Thank you for a delicious meal. Will definitely be back when you visit Boston.

Un poco cazzo, but the food was great. Cleanliness is questionable as we saw a rat and the service is a bit slow. The owner is however very friendly.
