I recently visited with my kids?.. there take away statement ?I ruined all sandwiches moving forward?. Because nothing was going to be that good. If for now other reason?. Simply go and smell the place?. The aroma of sharp provolone and fresh bread is incredible.
The hype is real. This deli looks authentic. I haven 't been to Italy but being in Little Italy and being the ONLY deli with a line down the street should speak volumes. The variety and being able to watch them make everything fresh makes it so much more appetizing. Due to Covid we sat on the street and ate it. I LOVE cold cut sammys. Especially Italian. My cousin wasn 't hungry and didn 't want to eat a ton but, couldn 't stop eating. I killed it as well. Definitely one of my favorite of all time. Unfortunately I live in CA. Recommend for anyone in the area.
My husband loved the chicken parmesan Sub he got. We waited for a while and then waited for the sub. He said it was worth waiting. The employees were very busy and appeared efficiently in fulfilling the many orders they met while we were there. The staff was nice. Great furnishings for order on one side and pay in the next room. Very limited distance, really only space to wait in the line. There is no place to sit while waiting or sitting to eat.
Yeah, yeah, and yeah, Monica had the absolutely best sandwiches. They were huge, the bread was perfect, the meat was tasteful and delicate. One of our favorite dishes during our vacation here, and we had a lot of good food.
I love this place. The foot-long sandwiches they serve are fantastic. An old school square in the North End. I usually eat half for lunch and save the other half for later. The steak tip and the Italian are my favorite.
