Nico - Boston

Enjoyed a meal on a Sunday while brunch service was available. We stuck with the Italian classics, however. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, the restaurant is quite small. Full bar available. Excellent service provided including attending to our special dietary needs. We started with a giant meatball and a salad, both of which were quite tasty. Entrees included chicken parm, linguine scampi, and vodka sauce/sausage plate. Portions are generous and we enjoyed the food. Prices are reasonable if not inexpensive.Kid-friendliness: This is a restaurant for adults with expectations of adult behavior.Parking: Good luck, maybe take an Uber...we did.Dietary restrictions: One of our party has several issues and they were very friendly and compliant in meeting her requirements.

We booked a table at 6:15 and were not seated till 7:15. Hostess offered us to sit at bar and wait. When table became available we headed downstairs to a small, stuffy and loud table. Told we had 90 minutes to finish. Area needs improved ventilation. CO2 meter measured 1,970. (Good is below 1,000) Saw server in the beginning and then the end. The food was very good. The cacio e pepe was excellent. We enjoyed the meatball, arugula salad and fusilli with sausage...burrata was excellent. The restaurant was good. Experience was strange. I wouldn't sit downstairs again. One bathroom for entire restaurant

Never disappoints!! Still as good as when they opened.

Nice little restaurant. The service was stellar. The food was decent. Nothing to write home about. Typical city prices. I had the boston creme French toast with Nutella on top. The Nutella whip was a little heavy and overpowered the rest of the French toast, but it was good. My girlfriend had the fruity pancakes. She loved them. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their food. Caprese salads, sausage and eggs, etc. No complaints, other than the price vs quantity of food.

The food was good, as always, but they seated us downstairs next to the bathroom and advised we had a 90 minute time limit. The room was so noisy we couldn't hear each other talk. I have recommended Nico in the past, but would not do so any more
