The espresso martini was fantastic (made with liqueur and espressso as it should in the North End). I ordered the fettuccine alfredo special and it was a bit small on the portion side, only taking up about half the plate for $20. Maybe that's what you get these days? It was homemade and delicious though. Very creamy. All the food looked delicious and plentiful. There were plenty if TVs to enjoy the basketball game too.
Best food in north end...being Italian it's hard to compare sauce/gravy to mom and wife ..roccos is delicous...service is great owners are nicest people ever..can't go wrong eating at Roccos Marsala ..pizza eggplant unreal....mangia
Great atmosphere and food. I accidentally forgot to order my wrap without Mayo and my waitress was wonderful about bringing me out a new one- will continue coming back thank you!
In Boston because our ship pulled into the Coast Guard base. Ordered a ton of pizzas and they were amazing! Can’t leave the base but it was nice to get some excellent food while we are here! Thank you!
Rocco’s is FANTASTIC because in addition to serving excellent food, the service is SO GREAT!! This isn’t one of the corporate owned restaurants in the North End. A couple owns it and they put their souls into it and it shows!! Our story is that our oven broke and we had people coming for a dinner party. (We live around the corner and have been there for dinner several times before, so we knew we loved it, but we weren’t sure they would be able to help us on short notice for a good sized party). We ordered platters of chicken parmigiana and ziti. SOOOO GOOD!! Big portions!! (We had leftovers that our son wanted because he loves Rocco’s too) and SOOOO tasty!! Our party was a success!! This is the type of neighborhood place that is worth seeking out! ENJOY!!!
