I would recommend it basically due to affordability. However, members of my party asked for very reasonable changes to their meals (items they didn’t like), and they were completely ignored. We had to ask several times for a soda we had asked for right away, for silverware, for napkins. The food quality was good, but it was frustrating to have to get it exactly as described when you ask for something simple like ‘no guacamole’ or ‘mayonnaise on the side’.
We had visited the Downton Abbey exhibit in downtown Boston and had chosen Rock Bottom as a reasonably priced lunch venue. We were very pleased with our experience. Our wait staff was friendly, one was training another but they worked seamlessly. We had a laugh as my husband could not make up his mind with the great selection of draft beers. Our meal was Waldorf Chicken Salad and French Dip sandwich. Both were delicious, and the fries were just right HOT HOT HOT when they came to the table. Many meals in restaurants are great, but I give the best reviews to the fries!
Took my sis-in-law here for her graduation!... reasonably priced and extensive menu
Server was horrible, and generally the service is good, especially bar service. Forgot drinks and when I reminder her, seemed annoyed. Instead of asking if we wanted anything further, such as a drink, she would bring us the check. Each time we handed the check back and said we'd like xyz. She never checked on us. I guess she wanted us to leave?? Even asked to double check if I filled out my receipt to which she said it was fine. Update: Oh and just found I was overcharged or someone took the liberty to add 2 bucks to my bill.
