The Lobster Roll and Lobster and Waffles were both great; I’ve never had fried lobster before and it went surprisingly well with waffles and maple syrup. The Maine Uni Roll was fresh and sweet, but it came packed with too much rice that it overshadowed the flavors. Overall the food was great and a solid choice for brunch, but lacked general creativity and uniqueness.
The fried lobster and waffles at this restaurant are amazing!
Can't say enough about this place..we had some tins, seafood tower and more! All delicious and the service was amazing.
This was my first time eating a lobster roll ever, and to be honest it was incredibly good. It was tasty, plentiful, well seasoned and the bun was great too. Nevertheless, I am sure there are other great ones out there. It didn’t feel wildly special as some of the comments would have you believe. We also had the lobster bolognese, which was really good, it competes with the lobster roll. The servers were always attentive and the atmosphere is beautiful. Fair warning, it will be expensive. Our total racked up to 130 for the roll, the pasta, a lemonade and a glass of wine.
I left this place feeling very confused about the hype I’d seen about it online. My dinner companion and I started off with a nice bottle of champagne and the waiter did not offer any recommendations for pairing with it. We stumbled over the menu and honestly didn’t pick the best options. Steak tartare was a little tough and flavorless. Raw oysters were good but that didn’t require any cooking. Also got a ‘caviar dip’ which had like 6 caviar eggs atop a bowl of sour cream dip. Served with way too few potato chips. And the hard metal chairs at the tables were very uncomfortable.
