Salvatore's-Theater District - Boston

They were out of an appetizer that one person in our party was going to have. Our server, Nadia, immediately offered a complimentary order or garlic bread. We were not rushed at all.

Always go to Sal's after the theatre. This is the first time it has not been great. Always get grilled salmon on a salad. The salad was swimming with dressing. Couldn't eat it.

Very good food and service. Couldn’t be more convenient for seeing a play at the Opera house.

Stopped by for a pre-matinee lunch at the Opera House (which is literally next door). Not very crowded for a Saturday afternoon, so we were seated rather quickly. I was a little disappointed that the online menu did not match the menu that was actually offered (I did verify that I was looking at the lunch menu for the correct location). Still the Florentine pizza was quite tasty, and my guest had the eggplant Parmesan sandwich, which also got a thumbs up. There was enough food to take home as well, and I'm a fairly voracious eater. I have to admit that the pizza tasted even better after reheating and adding some rolled anchovies. Our server was attentive and friendly, so the entire experience was a positive one.
