Sportello - Boston

Sportello, a restaurant owned by Barbara Lynch, lives up to its reputation with exceptional service, food, and atmosphere. The drink choices and menu selections are top-notch, and everything we tried was delicious. Our favorites were the Burrata and the Gnocchi with lobster. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

The pasta is delicious, but there were a lot of bones in the rabbit dish. The backless chairs were uncomfortable, especially for pregnant individuals. The service was slow, but it was busy so it was understandable. Overall, not a bad experience and I would return for the house made pasta.

The pasta is delicious here. Be careful though that some dishes get 86'd due to popularity and only so much sauce they make at a time. There's only a few tables here and much more seating at the u-shaped counters

I was blown away by the amazing food at Sportello! After eight years, we finally returned and it did not disappoint. The Italian cuisine was some of the best I've ever had, especially the duck and lobster gnocchi. However, the tiramisu was disappointing as it was dry and lacked coffee flavor (see photo). The service was not up to par as well. Our server brought out the salad first, followed by all the other dishes at once, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. We tried to eat quickly, but with four plates to consume at the same time, most of the food was cold by the time we were halfway through. I suggest requesting the dishes to be coursed out for a better dining experience.

Fresh pasta made for each plate from scratch makes the quality of food just unbelievable.
