Best Beacon Hill bar eveh! Great, attentive staff. Local flavor. Great selection of not just beer but also drinks. Management seems quite selective in their procurment of brands because there is a most unique (and fun) selection. Menu is on the mark. Overall 10 out of 10. 100% Boston for sure and a must-do.

Stumbled upon this excellent experience with my teenage sons today while out doing tourist things (on a hot day! . We were looking for something quick but good and while standing outside debating where to go a lady walking by casually said “you can’t beat that place”. The awesome bartender offered us seats at the bar and quickly served us ice water and a great cold beer for me. The food was fantastic cooked to order right behind the bar by a very nice guy. I had the Rachel…so tasty! The bartender was funny and chatty but not annoying. She had a couple of regulars come in and knew their beer orders before they asked. The atmosphere is dark and cool (literally and aesthetically . We definitely could not have picked a better lunch spot!

Horrible experience. Asked for water/menu and waiter spilled vinegar in front of/on us (no big deal but offered our drinks to be free. Then we ordered pretzel bites that we never received. The waiter sent them to the wrong couple and then proceeded to eat them in front of us. Then we asked for our checks and our drinks were not on the house. Also never received my water. Then the pen didn’t work to sign the check (that we should have never received. The waiter saw we were struggling with the non-working pen and offered a new pen. 5 seconds after offering a new pen proceeded to carry on a conversation with other guests and following the conversation dazed off into space and never retrieved the pen for us.

Great place to meet up and hang out. Bartenders were super friendly.

Service wasn't bad best reuben sandwich I ever had at any bar I recommended it nice place
