The girl that helped us was obviously new and didn't know how much to put on or wrap it very well. You have to learn somehow so no big deal, but she kept looking at the other worker for help which she didn't get. She put a lot less protein than the other worker gave and dropped a few more when attempting to roll it. The worker was nice and I'm sure will get better with practice. However, the flavor was just ok and the freshness factor dropped the rating to barely three stars. Wish it would have been better since I was looking forward to some good poke.
Food seemed fresh and the place was clean and well kept. Came here for lunch. Not the greatest place for celiac or GF bc they don’t carry gf soy sauce and it limits the amount of sauces you can have. I got a Mambo Combo sushi burrito +cucumber, seaweed salad, edamame. It was SO good. The burrito is definitely filling. Money well spent. My bf got a poke bowl but because he’s gluten free he described his bowl as “bare-boned” and didn’t end up eating it. First time eating a sushi burrito I’m not disappointed.Update: we got home, he added soy sauce to his bowl and now he likes it?
A yummy poke place right in Seaport BostonFood:They have both make your own and preset poke bowls. The sushi is very fresh- the only downside is that the pieces of salmon and tuna are on the smaller side. It could be more generous when compared to other poke places. The bowl is still tasty which makes this place worth tryingSeaweed salad is included as a topping without extra charge, which is a huge plusOther:Friendly staff, fast serviceFast-casual vibeTLDR;Come here to satisfy your poke cravings
Everything is fresh and the rice is done right! I come into the seaport once a week for work, and I eat here nearly every time. Ordering ahead is super reliable, so I recommend doing that if you want to skip the lunch rush. They used to have boba tea, and I hope that comes back!
