The prices are extremely high. The food is decent, but not exceptional. The gyoza are tasty. The bar is nice.

The food here is fantastic, and the service is decent. However, there’s a significant issue with the drinks. I ordered a Japanese old fashioned for $22, and it arrived in a glass with an enormous ice cube that left barely any space for the actual drink. After just two sips, it was gone! It felt like a total rip-off. I recommend requesting your drink without ice to see how much more you'll actually get.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at this restaurant, which holds special memories for us as it was one of the places we dined on our first date back in 2019. The experience and the food truly lived up to our expectations. We enjoyed the signature omakase along with some cocktails. Each dish was crafted with great care and attention, and we savored every bite. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful service!

I totally love Zuma—it's got an amazing vibe, PERFECT food, and usually awesome service. But this time, when I sat at the bar (which I've done plenty of times before and always had an excellent time with the bartenders), it was a different story with Miki. Right from the start, her attitude was off, and even though she could smile with her coworkers, she seemed to have a problem with us. We ordered cocktails, but once we finished, she didn't bother to check if we wanted more. Then, when a guy next to us offered to buy shots, she completely forgot about them and was just as grumpy when he reminded her. The whole night, she was just miserable, and it really put a damper on our night. I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but this was just too disappointing. I still love Zuma—it's my favorite spot in the city—but this experience was definitely not up to par.

Food was good but it’s the “vibe” and name you’re paying for. $500 for a perfectly “fine” meal. Lovely waiter.
