Eagles - Boston

This was our first time trying chips with gravy from this chip shop, and it was delicious! My family and I loved it so much that we ended up taking some chips and gravy home with us.

While in Boston for a couple of days, we stumbled upon Eagles when searching for a fish and chip shop. The downstairs dining area was bright and inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were fair and there was a decent selection to choose from. We both ordered large portions of cod and chips, one with peas and the other with bread and butter. The chips were well-cooked and plentiful, and the fish was tasty. However, the batter was greasy and left a noticeable amount of oil on the plate. It was disappointing that the bread and butter was not fresh and the spread was only applied in the middle of the roll. Overall, the experience was not enjoyable and if I were to ever return to Boston, I would likely try a different restaurant.

It has been a while since my last visit to this restaurant and it will likely be a while until I return. Unfortunately, the local fish and chip shop was closed so I decided to try this place instead. The batter on the fish was soggy and greasy, the fish itself was small, and it was clear that the oil needed to be changed. The chips were barely adequate. Overall, I was not satisfied with my meal and do not plan on coming back.

I visited the establishment today.ate out of the tray .pie was yummy.great visit.staff were efficient.preffer eating in main restaurant.

We went for our tea,only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table food was very good the service was good.
