The setting is unique with a magnificent pond bordered by century-old oak trees which add to the authenticity and calm of the place. We discovered this place through a poster for local produce and ventured down a path below the main road. We were delighted to find an apiary offering local products, including Armagnac. If you are looking for a quiet and authentic place to recharge your batteries, be sure to visit the Auberge du Grand Mégnos.
Great restaurant. We have been loyal customers for several years and the welcome, the quality of the dishes (and the quantity! remain perfect for very reasonable prices. Reservation highly recommended as the establishment is a victim of its own success! Very well prepared regional products. Very friendly owner. Impeccable service. Beautiful setting All the dishes are exquisite, but our preference is the lamb confit: a marvel that we order in advance every time! Possibility of ordering preserves (cooked meals, foie gras which we also recommend Long live this establishment!
Traditional inn in the countryside with a dream setting. Possibility to eat outside. Space between the tables which allows for privacy. Simple and pleasing to the eye. A very friendly and pleasant staff, very caring. The card where the menu is up to you. Everything inspires. All the products are of quality, Landes or neighboring departments. Of course the quantity is present. A word of advice, you have to book. A little more, possibility of buying the products of the farm. To discover or re-discover without moderation.
Nice restaurant in the countryside, very good stew in the menu at 27€, on the other hand if we compare with the photos, very small quantities for the other dishes, the 2 menus at 33€ from our table are not worth it, starter to share (2 slices of Bayonne ham, 3 small pieces of foie gras, a small pot of rillettes for 2), which corresponds more to a single person, 2 1/2 reconstituted duck breasts which do not represent a whole duck breast, the profiteroles 2 puffs instead of 3 in the photos, the ratatouille too salty... no plate service, the dishes are placed on the table and shared. Rather disappointing together, it's a shame because for all that we won't be back
We went to the restaurant at noon. Already the path leaves to be desired, full of holes. Menu at 33 euros extremely disappointed at the quality price. Charcuterie entrance without presentation (one slice per person) dish entrecôte frites dessert. Menu at 25 euros no more.
